Blake Gamble is a great detective with a troubled pass. He's working a case leading him things from nightmares.
The ending was great and look forward to more of Blake.

I also really enjoy detective books! This book was soo different yet so fun to read for me. Blake Gamble seemed to me like a very great character. I believe in him and I liked following along. I love these books because I always try to out guess the endings. I have a good time trying to figure out which way the author may go. I did not figure this one out! * I received this book from the author---this is my honest review*
Seemed at first as though this was a just an ordinary, if quite compelling, murder mystery. Until it wasn't.

A very unusual twist to this tale indeed, which made it all the more enjoyable to read.

The author has a distinct talent for creating well developed, three dimensional, likeable characters.

It's a well crafted, fast-paced, edge-of-the-seat read. A uniquely intriguing blend of science fiction, the paranormal and a very unusual murder mystery.

A very satisfying read indeed. Highly recommended!
What a great read. I wasn't sure what I was expecting when I started this book as I knew it had a supernatural element but like the main character I had to wait to find out what that was. This book started like an ordinary cop/crime book but evolved into so much more and had my heart racing with anticipation at what would happen next. The characters were very real and there was so much action the pages just kept turning. This book was written very well and I definitely want to see more of Blake!
I seldom give an "excellent" to any books I review, so it that should say something.
For my part, this story has it all i. e, compelling story line, believable characters, and an upbeat ending.
Most Authors will forfeit stars in my reviews if they include graphic sex, unnecessary foul language, and (a surefire fail) an obvious agenda to push a PC paradigm.
IMHO - Liberals stink at writing in this genre.
Kudos to the Author, and may his kind increases.
I picked this book just for something to read waiting for another book to be released. I read this in two or three sittings. Could not stop. It was a fantastic read. Surprising too.
